A Four day Landscape Photography WorkShop in Gramos<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Between Greece and Albania, as a physical border, stands Gramos mountain<\/strong>, a vast area of beautiful peaks and a historic landmark during World War II.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

It is the fourth tallest mountain of Greece, reaching 2.520 meters, and expands in two regional units of the country, Ioannina and Kastoria. It is part of the Pindus mountain range, which is 160km long and stretches from the north to central Greece.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gramos is a perfect place for nature photography, best for landscape and forest shots, although wildlife images are possible as the area is the home of the brown bear, the wolf nad a lot of birds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this landscape photography workshop, we will explore the landscapes of Gramos, reaching places that few people know.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will start our days early in the morning capturing the best light at dawn and dusk, which means we will outdoors for many hours. In the noon we will make a break to rest and gather strength for our next photography session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Most of the rime we will be using a 4×4 car, and we will hike a bit to get to better spots for our photography.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First day we will be leaving, in the morning, from Thessaloniki for Nestorio, a small beautiful village near the city of Kastoria. We will stay in a nice small hotel and talk about our plans for the next days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first morning, about 5 o’clock, we will be leaving with our 4×4 car for lake Moutsalia in Arenes, a beautiful alpine lake. There we will shoot landscape, long exposure and woodland images. We will explore the area, visiting beautiful mountains and landmarks like the Charos (Death) canyon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The second day we will travel to Gramos village, where we will shoot the mountains. From there we will explore the mountain and shoot some more landscape images. Depending on the weather, we will hike to Gistova Dragonlake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
