It is that time of the year and this post is all about gifts for your friends and family that love nature, landscape and wildlife photography.
In specific, this is MY wish list. It includes a lot of gear (17 products) I have and use, or I want to buy (if you want to send me something, ask me which one I need the most 🙂 ) Let’s see what I include in this list.
Peak Design Slide
It is many years since I have stopped using camera straps that photography brands give with their cameras. These straps are not very good for the neck or the shoulder as they are very thin, and I have been looking to find a nice and comfortable strap for my cameras. After years of searching, I ended using straps from Peak Design.
Peak Design Slide is a versatile pro camera strap and can be worn as a sling, neck, or shoulder strap. That is very useful as you can have it attached to your camera depending on your needs. Internally-padded nylon webbing has a smooth side that glides over clothing in sling mode and a grippy side that prevents slipping in shoulder mode. Dual quick-adjusters provide instant adjustment and easy reconfiguration. Peak Design uses its own anchor Link system that connects quickly, and keep the camera stable. Plus, Anchors work with any 3rd party tripod plate or L-bracket, as well as any Peak Design plate.
I like especially that it is very easy to adjust the length of the strap and that it is very easy and quick to remove it when I don’t want it to get in my way, especially when I am shooting video.

Peak Design CAPTURE
Peak Design CAPTURE is an excellent solution if you need to have your camera out of your backpack and don’t want it to be in a strap and getting in your way when hiking or climbing. And there is always the option to have it to your belt.
When you are walking, it can be frustrating to have to stop, remove the backpack and extract your camera to shoot a photo or video. With this clever solution, the camera is reachable in jest a few seconds.
Here you are.
NiteCore BlowerBaby 2
Currently, I am using NiteCore BlowerBaby 1, and I am loving it. I am waiting to receive the 2nd edition NiteCore BlowerBaby 2, which is improved.
With a lithium battery that charges with USB-C cable, and special brushes for camera and lenses, it helps me a lot to get rid of the dust from my gear.

NiteCore Charger
Who doesn’t need a USB charger that can use out in the field with the help of a power bank and charge gear batteries (cameras, monitors, leds etc). NiteCore offers chargers for all major brands and latest camera models so that you can use it on the field, a great solution for photographers that usually spend a lot of time out there.

Anker Power Bank
For extra energy when I am outdoors, I have picked a Anker PowerCore+ 26800 PD 45W Power Bank with 60W PD Charger. It charges everything I need, from smartphone to camera batteries, superfast and although it is a bit heavy I have never left it behind, and I have used almost every time. Money well spent!
You can find it on Amazon.
GoPro Suction Cup Mount
Although at the time being I use a DJI Osmo Action, I love this GoPro accessory. I have been searching for a good quality Sunction Cup Mount for the car and this is the one.
I have used it to mount my action camera outside the car and on the front wind shied or the driver’s door, and it holds its place like a boss. Of course, it is also great to use it inside the car in the windows.

A wall Calendar for the new year
A wall calendar full of images like my calendar with some of my favourite images of the last years!
All images are shot in beautiful Greece, most of them in Kerkini Lake, where I am spending a lot of my time, especially in the winter.
In the printed calendars last page, you can see each image with a title I have chosen for every one of them and learn where the shot was made. There is also a QR code, which you can scan with your smartphone and access the online digital gallery, using the password that I provide (both of them exist on the last page of the calendar). There you will get more infos about each shot. Please use the 12 images for personal use, as background for your devices, pc, laptop, smartphone. Posting them online or share them on your social media is forbitten.
Up until the 26 of December, I will have a pre-order period for the calendar, at the price of 25 euros (regular price is 35 euros) plus 5 euros shipping cost. There will be a limited stock for both English and Greek versions.

Demar lightweight EVA rubber thermal boots
I have two pairs of these boots and are excellent for shooting in rivers, lakes or the sea. Extremely pleasant wearing comfort due to the low weight, elastic and most important there is a removable textile inner shoe that means they can be used practically all year round.
You can find them on Amazon.
DJI Mini 3 Pro
The ultimate travel drone. I have used DJI Mavic Mini, DJI Mini 2 and I can say that If you hike or walk a lot you need your gear to be as light as possible, won’t take a lot of space in your backpack, and it is capable to provide great image quality.
DJI Mini 3 Pro is the solution!

Anker PowerPort Atom III Slim Wall Charger
When you are travelling you need to have a great wall charger to charge all your devices (smartphone, camera, drone etc).
I found the Anker PowerPort Atom III Slim Wall Charger that charges 4 devices at the same time. The PowerIQ USB-C port gives you the maximum performance for your USB-C devices, while the two additional USB-A ports provide you with a total power of 65W.
Great solution as a lot of small hotels have two or three plugs for your chargers.
You can find it on Amazon.
Hoya SQ100
Α filter system is a must for a landscape photographer, and you need to have a quality one. The new Hoya SQ100 system is a great choise that won’t break the bank.
The holder can carry two square filters in addition to a circular polarizer, with an optional slot for a third square filter. The body is made of aluminum for optimal durability while being still light-weight. A black gasket on the edge of the inside holder ring as well as a gapless design of the slots minimize light leak.
I recommend bying the SQ100 HOLDER KIT (includes a holder, a polarizer and two geared adapters that fix the polarizer inside the holder and attach it to the lens) one ND square filter of your choice and a Greaduated filter.
Trail Camera
I haven’t got until now a trail camera so I am not sure which one I/you should buy. But trail cameras are a great tool for a wildlife photographer and we see more and more images and videos from this devices.
Bushnell is a well known trail camera manufacturer with products like the Bushnell CelluCORE 20 Solar Trail Camera, which is Solar Powered and have dual SIM configuration for an automatic connection to AT&T or Verizon (if you are in Europe like me it won’t work) or the Bushnell Core DS-4K No Glow.
