I’m thrilled to announce new dates for my popular photography workshop, “The Kingdom of the Pelicans,” at Lake Kerkini.
Due to the overwhelming response and the 14-17 January session selling out, I’ve opened up a second workshop from January 20-23, 2025.
About the Workshop
As a professional image storyteller with a deep commitment to conservation photography and videography in Greece, I’ve spent years capturing the essence of our natural world. Lake Kerkini, one of the most important wetlands in Europe, has been a focal point of my work. This workshop offers an unparalleled opportunity to photograph one of the most majestic species, the Dalmatian Pelican, in its natural habitat.
What to Expect
During the workshop, we’ll explore the serene landscapes of Lake Kerkini, a haven for both wildlife and photographers. Each day is carefully structured to maximize your shooting opportunities while providing in-depth guidance on techniques, gear settings, and the art of storytelling through photography.
Highlights include:
- Guided boat tours for close encounters with pelicans and other wildlife.
- Shoreline photography sessions to capture unique Pelican shots.
- Photo critiques and personalized tips to help you refine your skills.
- Cozy evenings by the fireplace, discussing photography and sharing experiences with like-minded enthusiasts.
Why Join Me?
Whether you’re an experienced photographer or just starting out, this workshop is designed to challenge and inspire you. It’s more than just a photography trip; it’s an immersive experience where you’ll connect with nature, improve your craft, and leave with a portfolio of stunning images.
