Περιγραφή
This flamingo sunset print was made in the last minutes of light, shooting straight into the sun. The whole wetland turns molten gold, the birds go warm and soft at the edges, and two of them meet in the centre of the frame neck to neck.
The story behind the image
Backlight is unforgiving. A few minutes earlier and it is flat, a few minutes later and it is gone. I stayed low, waited for the group to arrange itself, and let the water go still enough to hold the reflections.
About this print
Rich gold and amber with plenty of detail in the reflections. A generous, warm piece for a living room or a hallway.
