The workshop is scheduled to be held in Madzharovo in Spring 2027.
This Madzharovo hide photography workshop takes you into the Eastern Rhodopes of Bulgaria, a hidden corner of Europe with some of the richest raptor populations on the continent.
What you will photograph
We work from hides, close to the action and without disturbing it: cinereous and griffon vultures at the carcass, golden jackals moving in between them, ravens and eagles, and the rocky, green landscape of the Arda river valley behind them.
Who it is for
Seasoned photographers and passionate amateurs alike. Hide work rewards patience more than gear, so it suits anyone willing to sit still and wait for the moment.
