An upcoming documentary film titled ECLIPSED. A Cosmic Reflection on Humanity’s Brightest Mistake.
What ECLIPSED Is About
ECLIPSED is a film about our fading connection with the universe.
It examines what it truly means for humanity to lose its view of the stars, while also raising awareness about the effects of light pollution—not only on people, but on ecosystems as a whole.
Light pollution is not just an environmental issue. It is the gradual loss of cultural heritage and of our sense of place in the cosmos. Today, 80% of humanity lives under light-polluted skies, and one-third of humanity can no longer see the Milky Way from their homes.
The Origin of the Film
The original idea and concept for ECLIPSED belongs to Christoforos, whose vision sparked the entire project and shaped its direction from the very beginning.
From that first idea, the film has grown into a full-scale documentary production, driven by a team committed to telling this story with cinematic depth and real-world relevance.
My Role in the Film
My role in ECLIPSED is: Assistant Director, Co-Director of Photography, Producer
I am responsible for supporting the direction of the film on set, shaping the visual language alongside the cinematography team, and contributing to the production and execution of the project—especially in demanding, on-location environments.
My focus is to help translate the concept into images that feel honest, immersive, and grounded in real experience.

Production Status and Premiere Goal
ECLIPSED is currently in full production.
Our team continues to work and travel to multiple locations (Athens, Patra, Kefalonia, Kalavryta) to document this silent crisis—capturing both its visible glow and its quieter consequences.
We are aiming for a Global Festival Premiere in Fall 2026.
