In December 2023, I had the opportunity to accompany the organization Action for Wildlife to Lake Kerkini, where we reintroduced a young great white pelican back to the wild.
A remarkable group of photographers joined me on an extraordinary four-day journey to the “Kingdom of the Pelicans” at Lake Kerkini, during my annual Nature Photography Workshop!
Every year I capture such moments at Kerkini Lake – the ethereal flight of pelicans, gliding over the water in mesmerizing slow motion.
